Job Description - Leads and participates in the work of inmate crews providing cleaning, sanitation, general maintenance and landscaping of facilities and grounds in strict accordance with security rules and procedures. This classification is distinguished from all other Custodian classifications by its primary assignment to adult correctional facilities and its participation in inmate security supervision.
Minimum Qualifications - (1) Two years of commercial, institutional or industrial custodial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
(2) One year of experience with Pima County as a Custodian.
(3) Two years of experience in the direct supervision of unskilled or semi-skilled workers or laborers engaged in grounds or facilities maintenance or custodial activity.
Job Description - Performs work in food production and service in a corrections/detention facility, performing volume cooking and preparation of regular and special diet foods according to prescribed menus and recipes; oversees inmates in food service work.
Minimum Qualifications - (1) Three years of experience in large-scale food preparation*, one year of which must be in volume cooking. Experience applying food service sanitation regulations may substitute for up to one year of the food preparation experience. * Large-scale food preparation includes food preparation in an institutional setting, e.g., hospital, nursing home, corrections/detention facilities, school or industrial plant cafeterias, large full-service and fast-food restaurants, commercial cafeterias/buffets, hotel/convention banquet facilities, military feeding facilities (ashore or afloat) or similar mass-feeding or catering operations.
(2) Two years of experience with Pima County as a Food Service Worker II or Corrections Food Service Worker.
Job Description - Installs, configures, deploys, trouble shoots and maintains client computing and communications hardware, software and associated peripherals infrastructure following generally defined procedures and practices for clients of the Pima County Information Technology (IT) Department or within an Elected Official's IT team.
Minimum Qualifications - (1) A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, university or technical trade school with a major in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems (MIS), or a closely related field as determined by the appointing authority at the time of recruitment.
(2) An Associate's degree from an accredited college, university or technical trade school with a major in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems or a closely related field as determined by the appointing authority at the time of recruitment and two years work experience in information technology, including the maintenance and administration of client computing or communications hardware and software infrastructure.
(Additional relevant work experience/education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.)
